Meet the Surgeon

Dr. Alejandro Valladares is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who combines skill, compassion, and over a decade of experience to provide the highest level of patient care. Originally from Honduras, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree before moving to the United States, where he completed two years of General Practice Residencies. One at St. Mary’s Hospital in Connecticut and another at Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina. Following this, he completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Valladares is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to communicate effectively and provide personalized care to a diverse group of patients.

Dr. Valladares specializes in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and bone grafting procedures. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), he is extensively trained in anesthesia and offers IV sedation to ensure patients feel safe and comfortable throughout their treatment.

Outside the office, Dr. Valladares participates in dental and medical mission trips that bring care to underserved communities. He also enjoys music, biking, and traveling with his family.
